Welcome

Oasis Church serves Scotland’s newest city, Perth, and the surrounding area by seeking to live and demonstrate the life of Jesus Christ, and to establish a place of spiritual refreshment, healing and love, open to all.

We meet in The Station Hotel – 1 Leonard Street, Perth,  on the ground floor. Plenty parking, easy access, in the car park behind the hotel. Free parking for hotel visitors.

Visitors are very welcome at Oasis, and we hope you will enjoy our loving, family atmosphere.

In the AUDIO section of our web site you will find items which will give you a flavour of who we are, what we believe, where we are coming from. Please dip in!

We hold a variety of mid-week meetings, usually on a Friday evening. We have a monthly extended worship evening, inviting the presence of the Holy Spirit. Other meetings focus on Spirit-led prayer, a ladies’ Nurture Group and a mens’ Discipleship Group. Oasis Church runs a Supa Club (Scripture Union primary age) at Balhousie Primary School every Friday lunchtime, and up to 18 children come along.

Robert and Kim also take assemblies at St Ninian’s PS.

Teaching series from April 2018 – JOSHUA

Joshua is one of the most exciting books in the Bible. It is a new beginning for the Israelites as they pass through the Jordan into the land that the Lord promised to give to their ancestors.

God worked supernaturally on behalf of his children again and again and there were continual signs and wonders. Impossibilities fell away before them. However, although the Lord was giving the Israelites the land, they had to rise in faith and take their inheritance. This conflict called for faith in the Lord, in his power and in his promises. As we press into the inheritance that the Lord has for us, partly kept in heaven for us and partly to be taken and enjoyed here and now, we need, like Joshua, to be strong and courageous and full of faith. There is inspiration for us today in this 3,500 year old story. Our God is the same. His power, love and commitment to working out his purposes through men and women who trust in him is the same today as it was in the time of Joshua. These are messages to stir our faith and spur us to take hold of more of that which God has promised to give us.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9.

Jesus still brings new life, forgiveness, freedom from oppression and sickness and hope to all who respond to his love. The purpose of this teaching series is for us to get to know him better and to experience his kingdom rule breaking into our lives and the lives of those we love.
Join us on this faith building adventure because this Jesus, our Jesus,  is the same, yesterday, today and forever!

Let us become your dwelling place, Lord.
