Welcome

Oasis Church serves Scotland’s newest city, Perth, and the surrounding area by seeking to live and demonstrate the life of Jesus Christ, and to establish a place of spiritual refreshment, healing and love, open to all.

We meet in The Station Hotel – 1 Leonard Street, Perth,  on the ground floor. Plenty parking, easy access, in the car park behind the hotel. Free parking for hotel visitors.

Visitors are very welcome at Oasis, and we hope you will enjoy our loving, family atmosphere.

Special note: 21 July, 6.30pm – Ruth Fazal – possibly the best worship leader in the world will be with us for an evening of intimate worship. See calendar for full details and poster.

And on Monday 22 July she will be showing her new film: Ezekiel – Out of Exile

In the AUDIO section of our web site you will find items which will give you a flavour of who we are, what we believe, where we are coming from. Please dip in!

We hold a variety of mid-week meetings, usually on a Friday evening. We have a monthly extended worship evening, inviting the presence of the Holy Spirit. Other meetings focus on Spirit-led prayer, a ladies’ Nurture Group and a mens’ Discipleship Group. Oasis Church runs a Supa Club (Scripture Union primary age) at Balhousie Primary School every Friday lunchtime, and up to 18 children come along.

Robert and Kim also take assemblies at St Ninian’s PS.

Teaching series

May 2019 new Series “I am God’s Gift.”

No – this is not about us thinking how wonderful we are! This is about us coming into our Abrahamic inheritance. God blessed Abraham and made him a blessing. Genesis 12:2-3.  I will bless you – – and you will be a blessing. All peoples on earth will; be blessed through you.
This teaching series will explore the riches of God’s gifts to us so that “blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ” we live out a life of blessing others. God’s greatest gifts to the human race are His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, “the gift my Father promised” Acts 1:4.  God in his Fatherly goodness loves to give good gifts to his children. When we understand  how we are blessed we can become a blessing to others – channels of God’s love, kindness, grace, mercy and power. Freely we have received so freely we can give.
AND – we are starting Randy Clark’s Power to Heal  course. 8 sessions in all, starting on Saturday 04 May at Robert and Kim’s.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9.

Jesus still brings new life, forgiveness, freedom from oppression and sickness and hope to all who respond to his love. The purpose of this teaching series is for us to get to know him better and to experience his kingdom rule breaking into our lives and the lives of those we love.

Join us on this faith building adventure because this Jesus, our Jesus,  is the same, yesterday, today and forever!

Let us become your dwelling place, Lord.

Sunday mornings – our regular meeting at Station Hotel, 1100

Sunday 21 july – No 1100 meeting this morning, but do come and listen to Ruth Fazal at 6.30 in the evening. Same venue. An evening of intimate worship from possibly the world’s finest worship leader.

To come soon – Robert speaking on Living in the Major and Minor Keys of Life. Embracing the #s and flats that life brings along. It will be one of his talks with musical illustrations.

Don’t forget – Some of Robert’s teaching is available in the Media section of our web site. And of course all Robert’s teaching notes are available.

In addition, his series on Scotland’s Revival History is in the Blog pages.
